xmltv and channel listings
I just setup mythtv and started running it for the
first time last night and everything's been running
great. Somehow when I selected my cable type using
the "setup/setup" script I ended up with the wrong
cable listings. It has most of the same channels just
not on the right numbers is all.

I went back this morning to try a different selection
and figured that setting up a few different options to
try would be a good idea, however now its been getting
channel information for the past 3 hours :(

So my question is ... is there an easy way to change
your cable selection? Can you do this in mythfrontend
somehow ... e.g going from cable-basic -> digital
cable? Do I have to dump the database first, then
refill? And is it a bad idea to have multiple options
available to xmltv. If it is going to try and
retrieve information on 3 cable systems everytime I
tell it to update the info then that is bad,
especially since digital cable has channels going up
to 950.
