No mouse mode on my phone

I read about enabling mouse mode in microb browser.

I also saw videos of how to enable it, available on internet.

This mode simply not getting enabled on my N900.

What could be the reasons?

Following is the uname -a output

Linux Nokia-N900 2.6.28.10power40 #1 PREEMPT Tue Aug 10 09:30:52 EEST 2010
armv7l unknown

I also noticed that the placement of various buttons (such as back and
bookmarks) in the browser is different on my phone from ones I saw in
online videos on this topic.

Is there any upgrade of microb available that I need to install or is
there any setting in microb or control panel of the device to enable this?

What is your software version (Settings > About product > Version)? If
you use 10.2010.19-1.004 you might want to take a look at
https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11284 and answer the questions
there.

Were you ever able to enable mouse mode on your N900? It took me a while
to figure out how to enable it even after reading about it and watching
some videos. But once I got the hang of it, it's easy to do.
