Dejan, do you have any update on this?

I'll be testing the last couple of fixes and updates i made to
the mysql-proxy ra (based on your comments) and will issue a
pull request in the next days (hopefully).

Maybe we can also include the often discussed but, to my knowledge,
never actually implemented fix for the MySQL 5.5 replication [1][2].

I cannot provide any input on this one. Hope that all of you
mysql experts are going to sort it out :)

Hi Raoul,
I updated the mysql agent numerous time in my own branch and the fix
for 5.5 is in there. Still not very agile with git but I'll try to
rebase with the current tree. My up to date branch is:
