It has been duly noted that the serial code on 0.4.5 was broken.
The testimony of several witnesses seems to indicate it's fixed in 0.4.5a.
Therefore, I now declare 0.4.5a the "preferred" release.
Right now, I don't remember hearing of of any new ones that folks needed in an
urgent way. Let me know if that's not the case.
Otherwise I'll go back to working on error recovery in the protocol.
