I get following errors in dmesg and while booting up:

I installed the drivers for this tuner from ivtv download page.

I do not have a remote control connected (maybe this is the reason for the I2C errors, I really don't know)

Is this problem known and is there a fix or workaround?

The ivtv driver does not know about you card specifically. The
ivtv-driver assumes a PVR-150 card, which is wrong for your hardware.

Use the cardtype= module parameter to ivtv to find a similar card type.

This is what I get in windows XP MCE for the TV Tuner:

Conexant (Internext Compression) iTVC16/CX23416 MPEG Codec

Detail (it's in Dutch):

So I believe that the CX23416 firmware should be correct.
