I'm having a problem ( or bad reaction to ) masquerading. What i'm doing it
changing the Source IP in the postrouting hook, which goes well. The packet
is then masqueraded out ( or snat'd out, i've tried both ). The problem i'm
having is when the return packet arrives it is un-masq'd to it original IP,
not the I gave it in the postrouting hook, which is causing packets to be
routed incorrectly.
So I guess my question is, is this possible?
and when, where is iptables recording the original packet data?
