There are questions from some readers of my page regarding commercial
use of GnuPG.

While various resources indicating that GnuPG is not using any
patented method, is that also mean that GnuPG can be used commercially
(like in corporation environments) without legal conflicts?

I'd like to make sure what I write on the page is accurate...

Concerning restricted algorithms, GnuPG does not use any, so those are
not an issue.

The GNU General Public License, which GnuPG is under, has no restrictions
on the actual use; I quote section 0 of the GPL:

"Activities other than copying, distribution and modification are not
covered by this License; they are outside its scope. The act of running
the Program is not restricted, and the output from the Program is covered
only if its contents constitute a work based on the Program (independent
of having been made by running the Program). Whether that is true depends
on what the Program does."
