I installed emacs 21.3-r3 and auctec 11.53, but whenever I visited a .tex file
(a new one or an existing one) or I switched to it:
-- a message appeared in my terminal window:
Warning: Actions not found: reset, set, notify, unset
-- the Command menu was there, I could use it by the F10 key, but I couldn't
open it by clicking with the mouse.
I wrote to auc-tex@sunsite.dk and this was the reply:
Probably a KDE bug. See
<URL:http://groups.google.com/groups?threadm=bdbur2%2428j%241%248302bc10%40news.demon.co.uk>.
So I changed line 3088 in tex.el from:
(defconst TeX-command-menu-name "Command"
to:
(defconst TeX-command-menu-name "Commands"
My AuCTeX menu bar is now:
File Edit Options Buffers Tools LaTeX Commands
and works fine ;-)
