difference in zoneinfo files
I am installing Gentoo and am just about to the point where I will
need to choose the zoneinfo file to link to localtime.

I live in San Diego California.
The two zoneinfo files that I see to use are:

/usr/share/zoneinfo/PST8PDT
or
/usr/share/zoneinfo/US/Pacific

Doing a diff on the two files does not show any difference.
Can anybody tell me what the difference is and which is best
to use.
