FYI, I'm using FF 1.0 pre, and I cannot duplicate this problem. I have
block popup windows checked in preferences, and gmail print works just
fine, namely a new popup window and centered on that the standard
print confirmation dialog. Possibly this has something to do with the
profile. You might try the action recommended below.

I take exception to this statement. There is indeed a known problem
with the find toolbar, but I can live with that.
Take a look at bugzilla and comment the

All of you would be a little happier with a trip to google. Almost
every release of firebird/firefox from day one has had some sort of a
problem with reusing existing profiles. Most, if not all, of the other
problems listed in bugzilla #64267 are fixed by one of the following
to correct the profile after stopping firefox:
1. rm ~/.mozilla/firefox/default.???/compreg.dat
This worked for me
2. mv ~/.mozilla/firefox ~/.mozilla/firefox-old
Others had to clear the profile.
If you removed the profile, copy back your bookmarks, etc., after
restarting firefox.
IMO, the find problem notwithstanding, FF 1.0 pre is one of the most
stable firebird/firefox releases I've used. I've encountered exactly 2
bugs, and only one of them counts, since the other is fixed by working
on the profile.
Also, Tamas, it takes too much effort to reconstruct the order of the
quotes in your posts such that a reply has any sort of logical order..
Pardon my French, but it would be a really good idea (tm) if you would
drop the f###ing top posting.
YMMV,
