XDirectFB issues
Does anyone know how to enable console(VT) switching when running an
XDirectFB session? is it possible?

Also, is there something similar to a display manager for XDirectFB ?

Qingy. I'm using it. It's pretty neat.

got it...

I'm still in the process of setting this machine up...and I've never
used XDIrectFB before...
It seems that qingy wants to call xinit (from the settings i see)
that doesnt work as it tries to bring up a normal X Server

any idea how i should be going for this?

if i login in text mode and run startxdfb it works perfectly and
brings up XFCE4
(btw i can even bring up a couple of firefox windows and an xterm and
the machine is STILL not swapping....awesome...it's a p166 with 96mb
of ram :) )

Well, I've never tried this, but wouldn't changing the X server path in
the config file to something else (like starxdfb, or nothing), be what
you'd want?
