New experimental SPARC profile for gcc-4.1.1, glibc-2.4 and linux-headers-2.6.17
Hi All,

I've committed a new profile for testing out gcc-4.1.1, glibc-2.4 and
linux-headers-2.6.17 on SPARC. This test is strictly for testing out
these core parts of the toolchain by developers or users who are well
aware of what they are doing and is not recommended for anyone for
regular use and/or who cares about their system. You break it, you buy
it :)

For the more daring, the profile will be available at your next sync
as /usr/portage/profiles/default-linux/sparc/sparc32/dev/gcc-4.1.1
or /usr/portage/profiles/default-linux/sparc/sparc64/dev/gcc-4.1.1 for
your symlinking pleasure.

There are at least two known bugs with this right now (sys-apps/kbd and
x11-base/xorg-server) which will hopefully be fixed in the tree soon.
Temporary workarounds to this can be found at
http://dev.gentoo.org/~weeve/overlay/gcc-4.1.1/

If you happen to encounter a bug that you believe is related to these
toolchain elements, please file a bug at https://bugs.gentoo.org (bugs
with patches are greatly appreciated).

The profile may still need a bit of tweaking yet so don't be surprised
if things change out from under you without notice.

Again, if you care about your system at all and/or don't want to
inspire the wrath of The Ori, do not use this profile.

Cheers,
