kernel sources for 2.6?
Which kernel source should I use if I wanted to move to 2.6?

More specifically... I've an Ultra 10 (single cpu, IIi, 64bit) that I'd
like to
move to the 2.6 kernel. What kernel source should I use?

If you are single cpu & IDE, then you should be good with
gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.11-r4. I had some trouble with the serial
console (SAB82532) and some fb stuff in that kernel, so if you're bit
with problems relating to either of those, try dropping down to
2.6.9-rX. If you want to use audio, your best bet is to use 2.6.11's
builtin alsa or media-sound/alsa-driver from outside the kernel as I've
had more problems with <=2.6.10's in-kernel drivers than the external
package. There are still sufficient problems with the native alsa
support, but the oss emulation usually works fairly well (except for the
<=2.6.10 in-kernel).
