I've been curious about the policy to add the ppc (or ~ppc) keyword to
ebuilds. I've been adding these keywords mannually to the ebuilds I
need and I use under x86.
For what I've seen in the list, I guess the rule is "if somebody made it
compile under ppc, report it to gentoo-ppc-dev". Is it correct? (Sorry
for the topic if it's already documented -- actually I didn't check it.)
If that's the way, I know of some masked-by-missing-keyword applications
which were compiled and have been working fine for me (although not
extensively tested) so maybe they could be promoted to ~ppc:
dev-scheme/chicken-1.89
x11-plugins/wmmsg-1.0
x11-plugins/bfm-0.6.4
x11-plugins/wmmon-1.0_beta2-r2
The machine is an ibook G3.
