----------------------------------------
Hello guys,

to avoid my mistakes I compiled succesfully new kernel according Stuart's config and compiled glibc again under new working kernel. System was up and running. To have clean system I came via emerge --update world to compilation of glibc. Compilation of glibc took rafly 24 hours and emerge glibc was unsuccesfull with report under. I include emerge --info as well. I tried to compile glibc 3 times with error. It will be helpful you can see in report some mistake or in --info I can compile glibc without errors. If not I will send report of glibc compilation to bugs.gentoo.org.

Thanks for any help.

So I'm just wondering, what part of "file a bug on bugs.gentoo.org" did

For some reason glibc is trying to compile as n32, which is very wrong. I don't
see anything obvious in your config as to why this is happening though. You
might want to try and mask this version and try one of the older ones to see if
the problem still exists.

Setting -mips in your make.conf is VERY wrong. If you do that expect things to
be broken. When we mark something -mips we do it for very good reasons. Mostly
because said package is results in a completely broken system. I'm not sure if
this is the cause of the above problem or not. But I'd recommend at the very
least that you remove that keyword and do a emerge -e system to rebuild your
toolchain and core packages.

Just to follow up on this, I bet you totally screwed something up when
you tried using gcc-mips64 as your system compiler earlier. I'm not
sure how this could affect things now, since your emerge info looks ok,
but it seems more than a coincidence. You didn't set some silly
symlinks to try and get portage to pick up the mips64 gcc, did you?

I guess hardave's mail client is on crack right now, you definitely have
~mips and not -mips, so just disregard that part.

As you or someone else said not to compile apps with mips64. It is obvious in report (i did not see it) I compiled glibc with mips64 !! I cleaned my glasses :-) I could see it myself. I looks I screwed something up with gcc-mips64. I will emerge -e system (not with "~mips") to have completely clean system.

I read some articles in forums.gentoo.org and this one http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-267592-highlight-mips.html I understood that everything can be compiled with "~mips" from stage1. After I have clean system iI can compile some apps (arcboot) as "~mips".

Thanks for info.

I am sorry I wasted your time guys. I just need to follow Handbook and be patient and now I have updated system, xorg, fluxbox and some few applications. :-)
I emerged sometimes with mips sometimes with ~mips. That was the main mistake of me. Thanks anyway for help.
