arcsboot: ARCS Linux ext2fs loader 0.3.8.4

Loading linux from scsi(0)disk(1)rdisk(0)partition(0)

Header says 32-bit
Allocated 0x80 bytes for segments

Loading 32-bit executable
Loading program segment 2 at 0x88002000, offset=0x800, size = 0x1a2ef0
0x1a2ef0
Loading program segment 3 at 0x881a6000, offset=0x1a4000, size = 0x35000
0x35000
Zeroing memory at 0x881db000, size = 0x265c0
Starting 32-bit kernel

Here O2 had been frozen

Try adding "console=<serial port>,<speed>" to your boot line eq.

boot -f 6.8b64-i console=ttyS0,9600

I presume you are using serial console since you got a log saved of your
try.

Ummm... I'm not entirely sure that 32-bit kernels work on IP32 at the
moment. They did at one point, but there seems to be little interest in
maintaining 32-bit support, especially since 64-bit kernels run exactly
the same. :-)

Try building a 64-bit kernel. You may need to `emerge gcc-mips64`
first, so that you have the necessary toolchain. From there, just
enable '64-bit Kernel' in the kernel configuration.

o64 kernels, like the ones built for O2, look like 32bit kernels to arcboot,
which is normal.

Re: boot of O2 [ In reply to ]
At first I tried to compile kernel myself maybe 20 times. Then I took config from http://stuartl.longlandclan.hopto.org/gentoo/mips/kconfig.php/7 and compiled kernel again. Now my o2 is up and running Gentoo (2005.0 profile). Thanks everyone for help.
