hardened-sources-4.2.3-r4 fails to boot

After transferring my config from 4.1.7-r1 the kernel panics at the crypto
setup part during boot. After disabling some crypto options it gets
through this section and panics again at another portion.
Unfortunately I don't have time now to start taking care of this issue,
but I'm interested if any of you had problems booting recent 4.2.3-rX
kernels...

I had problems to boot the 4.2.3-r4 kernel becuase of problems in the
crypto scetion, too. At least this problem has been solved in 4.2.3-r5,
but I am now suffering from bug #563804
(https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=563804). So I still stick with
4.1.7-r1.
