Viewing project status
I'm the head member of Serbian Translation Team for GDP (most probably,
the futurer Lead Translator for Serbian language).
My team grew up in the last few days - we are now 5 or 6 (one member
left the team, but other 2 came).
The problem is viewing project status - which files are translated,
which are not. I want democracy here: every member to be able to choose
what he wishes to translate. Take a look here:
http://usera.imagecave.com/daniel1988/gentoo_project_status.jpg
It would be nice if member could edit this in order to add their name in
the adequate place and change the status of the file (3rd column). 4th
column will be my duty. And some security will be nice: authentification
before accessing the page or something like that.
After the translation of the file is finished, it will be uploaded on
our SVN. Later I can take it from SVN, check it once again for common
mistakes and submit the file at bugs.gentoo.org .
What do you think about this? Great, right?

The problem is that I don't know how to do this (that's the reason I ask
you here). Maybe a subforum under forums.gentoo.org, where only user of
Serbian Translation Team will have access to write and edit. In this
case, how to add a table, similar with this from screenshot, in there?

Regards,
Daniel Manesku

Try using trads script, written by Xavier Neys:

Not standard software for the Gentoo project, but you might want to
take a look at wikiCalc ( http://www.softwaregarden.com/wkcalpha/ ).
It's basically a web-based spreadsheet that multiple people can log
into and edit... Seems like what you were looking for.

Thanks,
Andrew

Thank you both for answering. I will give a try to wikiCalc, else I will
have to set up Trads.
About 10 docs are already translated to Serbian. I have to check them
all and to send them to b.g.o. After that, I hope neysx will give me
read-only CVS access (which is required for Trads).

Daniel
