Hey all:

I cannot get iputils to (re)emerge on my eMachines M6809 laptop. Problem
started after I did an "emerge -e world", and the forums all seem to
indicate "Hey, it's been fixed, just do an emerge sync and all will be
fine!" Well, not in my case. Here's a snippet of the error I get from an
"emerge world":

Any ideas, help, pointers would be great--two months without "ping" is
painful.
