Tested with Firefox 75.03 I can confirm this is still an issue with modern browsers.
So something isnt working right.

from what I can see, the sentence/para that is supposed to preserve space uses <div class="pre">...</div> (and not <pre> tags.)
However I see no .pre class in any of the associated style sheets.

Following the page: https://forrest.apache.org/docs/changes.html
shows that this was introduced in https://svn.apache.org/r7460

That might assist finding what has changed to CSS since then.

Thanks, in http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=revision&revision=1821834 I added the missing css back in, to the pelt skin only.
Is this enough do you think for this issue, or should I maybe add it to other currently maintained skins? And what about dispatcher themes ?

This does not seem to fix it in the pdf export version, should this jira encompass that also and provide a fix for it?

I'll also need to look into publishing the main forrest site again, you happy that this small change is ok for me to test my setup with a site-publish?

Yes to the other skins. Don't know what is happening with dispatcher. For PDF i don't know offhand -- it would need some detective work.
