The Sophos product is a SMTP proxy that scans for viruses using Sophos AV
technology. I realise that this is somewhat off topic but I wondered if
anyone had any experience with the two together?

I have a single box setup which is

exim->sophos MM->exim

which works quite well in simple tests.
