Is this still an issue? Have you tried using exiwhat to find out what the Exim
processes think they are doing?

No, we haven't used exiwhat at this moment, but we'll execute it and post
results in a while.

Dear all,

the problema was with two routers misconfigured who expanded mails in a
infinite loop.
