Summary: Incorrect behavior with unreachable LDAP-server or
invalid credentials (endless spawning DB connections)
Description:
Switching to authdriver = ldap involves endless spawning of DB connections
if LDAP-server unreachable or bind credentials are invalid.

The daemons will now exit immediately, without a segfault, if the LDAP
server is unreachable at startup.
