I don't know how that happened, but you can relax since 1.2.8 is the
database for the 0.9.9 series which is not released (or finalised) yet.

To get rid of the annoying message you need to edit inc/always.php,
which must somehow have been generated in a place where the 1.2.8.sql
was present. I'll fix the tarball...

Cheers,
Andrew.

Database not Up-To-Date after fresh install [ In reply to ]
Hello,

I did a fresh install of DAViCal Version 0.9.8.4. The first line of the
login page shows "Database schema needs upgrading. Current: 1.2.7,
Desired: 1.2.8". I tried to solve it by running update-davical-database
but nothing changes. Inside the tarball I downloaded, I also can't find
a file dba/patches/1.2.8.sql.

Regards

Sebastian

I found the cause of the problem. I didn't run make. After running make
the rror message is gone.

I think this also causes the problem that I was unable to login into my
upgraded system. If make isn't fired the file inc/always.php isn't
generated which caused my login problems. I don't understand why I
didn't get any error messages but that's another problem.

Thanks

Sebastian
