i imported my initial cards-collection creating my own UID:

$uuid = new uuid;
$UID = $uuid->v4();
$result[$cardcnt] .= "UID:$UID\n";
<!-------8<----------------->
this worked for me.
i think you should delete all the cards in your collection after export and
before importing them again.
for PHP5 you need to install php5-uuid package (debian).
