Problems connecting CCM-4.0 with Nortel Meridian TX1?
Hello,

I got on loan a CCM-4.0 with an ISDN/PRI to connect to a Meridian. The PRI
works ok, but we do not get the Q.sig functions (names, immediate call divert,
etc.). The same thing worked when Avaya was connected instead of the Cisco.

Any idea how to define the PRI interface (on a Cisco-3,640) so it will
interoperate with the Meridian?

Thanks! __Yehavi:

Are you doing H.323 or MGCP?

There is a difference.

If using H.323, CCM 4.0 does ITU style QSIG.

If using MGCP (CallManager control), it does ISO.

This does have a direct impact on operation, as some of the features don't come through well in H.323.
