Call forward
I have a user that has a 7940 with her main extension on line one then a
shared line on line 2. If she wants to forward the shared line to a
cell phone, how does she do it? I tried pressing line two then CFwdAll
and it errors out. I'm running CM 3.3.4. Is the only way through CM
Admin page?

Thanks

Scott
Re: Call forward [ In reply to ]
Call forwarding non-primary lines is not currently supported in the TUI (telephone user interface). The only way to forward other lines is through the CCMuser interface (or as administrator).

We've not got a clear answer from Cisco when this will be available in the TUI.

RE: Call forward [ In reply to ]
Call Forward all can only be invoked on a phone for the first line. To
Call Forward All, lines other than line 1 on a phone there are two
options.

1) Manually set the call forward all setting in CCMAdmin
2) Have a user log into the CCMUSer webpage;
http://<CCM_Hostname_or_IP_Address/CCMUser
Users can be setup either through the User menu in CCM or
through AD if you are using the AD plugin.

RE: Call forward [ In reply to ]
An Admin can do it, or she can do it from the CCMUser page. Each user can independently forward any of their lines on the CCMUser page, assuming her line has the CSS to allow an off-net forward.
