The 7914 sidecar is only compatible with the 7960. It appears that you
can configure a 7914 with a 7940, however it will not work.
The 7914 is supposed to work with the 7970's in a future firmware
release.

Does anyone has been using 7940 with 7914 . CCM 3.3(3) ?
For mee it seemed to be the same as 7960 but I can't install 7914 with
Ciso ip phone 7940.
Any help needed
