We are on 3.3(3)sr4 and 7970 appears as an option. I believe you need
to be at a certain service release for 7970 support.

On CM 3.3.3, how do you add the 7970 phones? I do not see a selection
for 7970 in the drop-down device list. It does not seem to work to add
as a 7960, like the workaround for the 7920.
