7920 --> 1200 VxWorks
I$B!G(Jm hoping someone can give me a hand. I have a 7920 on loan from Cisco. I$B!G(Jm trying to find out how I get the thing working. Here$B!G(Js the network.

7920 $B"*(J Cisco Aironet 1200 VxWorks $B"*(J wired network $B"*(J Cisco CM 3.3.3sr1. It looks like I need to find some documentation on how to get the AP and 7920 to work happily together. I$B!G(Jm looking on CCO and not finding much. Can someone give me a clue? A good link would be great.

Just a shot in the dark here as I've never worked with a 7920, but I do remember reading that the 7920 is only compatible with Cisco access points. If that's the case, I would assume the 1200AP would have to be on IOS not VxWorks. Any reason why the 1200 is still on VxWorks? I converted all my 1200 and 350 Aps to IOS immediately.

It ended up being that I had to change some settings to match the AP on the 7920. Yes they do work with VxWorks. But since you brought it up, Can all Aironet 1200s be upgraded to IOS. I was told that ours couldn't. Do you have any documentation? What was the process?
