A transistor protected by a fast-acting fuse will protect the fuse by
blowing first.

Hi

We just had a problem with an 2621XM running as L2TP LNS with 12.2(8)T5.
I guess we ran into a strange bug.

upgrading to 12.2(12) fixed it and it seems to run smoothly. We do L2TP
LNS on it with EIGRP, Frame Relay and normal FastEthernet...

12.2(8)T5 -> 12.2(12) is no *upgrade*. It's a change from "T" train
(lots of cool features, lots of nasty bugs) to a mainstream image (no
new features since 12.2(1), less bugs).
