I'm trying to figure out what exactly is the following
Retransmit time distribution: 0 0 27 0 1 0 0 0 0
which comes from the "sh vpdn tunnel all" command.
According to CCO, this should display the number of control channel retransmissions happening over
time (each value represents exponential backoff from 1 to 8 sec), but i would like a better explanation:
if we have this
Retransmit time distribution: 0 0 27 0 1 0 0 0 0
and after 5' we have this
Retransmit time distribution: 0 0 48 0 3 0 0 0 1
how is this translated?
Does the tunnel drop when the sum of all these values reaches the "l2tp tunnel retransmit retries x"
configured?
How can i clear these counters?
Tassos
