Status: New
Owner: ----

New issue 1314 by neuro.in...@gmail.com: python install script contains
misspelling which leads to broken rc*.d links
http://code.google.com/p/cherokee/issues/detail?id=1314

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Merely running the "install" python script found on
http://cherokee-project.com/install to install cherokee web server
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Python install script installs broken /etc/rc?.d/ links named
K??cherkee-opt and S??cherkee-opt. They are spelled incorrectly, and should
be S??cherokee-opt and K??cherokee-opt

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Newest version as of Dec. 5, 2011, on http://cherokee-project.com/install.
Operating system is Debian 6 stable (squeeze).

Please provide any additional information below.

All you have to do to fix it is change lines on 571 and 572 in the python
install script (install.py), so that it spells "cherokee" instead
of "cherkee"
