I've been meaning to ask this for awhile, please forgive me if it has
been answered before.
Why is it necessary to have mod_perl compiled as a static module in
httpd?
I have never had a problem running bricolage with mod_perl as a DSO.
It requires more manual configuration for bricolage, but other than
that I have had zero problems.
Thanks,
