[Bricolage-General] Republish.
A couple members of my team are requesting an option to
republish articles from within the Bric interface.

Often, they want to republish an article without checking
it out, sending it to Publish desk, going to the desk,
and publishing from there.

Any thoughts about adding this to the feature request
list?

Uh, well, if they're not checking it out and making any changes, what's the
point of republishing?

Good question; I should have mentioned it in the e-mail.

Usually, they're republishing in the course of modifying
templates and categories, and aren't comfortable enough
with Unix to run bric_republish from the shell.

Hmmm, yes, I can see a need for an interface for people to be able to
mass-(re)publish stories, such as when a site redesign has been done. Right
now, a soap script is the way to do it, but I'll add something to the To Do
list for creating a browser-based UI for such a functionality.

Regards,

David
