Media created via the Bric API (such as by our in-house thumbnail creation template) does not fully create the media item in the database (PostgreSQL): no media_uri table entry is created until a user saves or manually publishes the media in the Bric interface.
This behavior occurs on Bricolage 1.10.9. Does it also appear on 2.x?
