Summary: Clicking "Cancel" After Adding Element Doesn't Delete

Here's the upshot: What users would like is when the Element Profile is opened
with a new Element (as opposed to an existing element), and they click "Cancel",
then the new element should be deleted. If it's an existing element, then
clicking "Cancel" should just cancel any changes to the Element, but not delete
it.

This will be a bit tricky to implement, though.
