wackamole on Linux (CVS)
Apparently, the CVS version has not worked on Linux due to a problem
with the interface control code. Sometime between the last release and
now, the if_down function (in ife-sockpacket.c) responsible for downing
interfaces stopped correctly matching interface names of the form dev:#
(a Linux and old Solaris-ism).

This has been fixed in CVS. Anyone who had a problem with the CVS
version claiming that it downed an interface (or dropped and IP) but
didn't drop them in reality should update on CVS HEAD and try again.
This problem only exisited in the sockpacket code which to my knowledge
is only used by Linux.
