mythtv problem with kernel 3.4.2-1.fc16.x86_64
I've mentioned this in the 'ATrpms Status Update' thread and on the
MythTV lists, but an update seems better in a new thread.

Under 3.4.2-1 I find that mythtvsetup doesn't recognise any of my tv
tuner cards. I do have recordings made with this kernel using settings
set up under 3.3.7-1 but some have failed. I have not seen similar
failures under 3.3.7-1 either before or after trying 3.4.2-1.

dmesg | grep adapter shows that all the cards are registered by both
kernels.

Although I believe that all my cards now have in-kernel support, I
wondered if this problem was linked to my not having video4linux
packages for the new kernel, so I used the media-build script to create
something similar. ( http://git.linuxtv.org/media_build.git )

It made no difference. 3.3.7-1 works for me, but 3.4.2-1 does seem to
have brought problems.

I'm using nVidia 295.49 with the earlier kernel, and both 295.59 and
302.17 seemed ok with the newer. All these are from packages now or
formerly in the ATrpms repo.

Not that "me too" emails are generally helpful, but in this case, to
prevent you
from driving yourself nuts "me too" ;)

I did an upgrade this morning to 3.4.2-1 and lost my tuner cards and the
ability to even see them.

I've added a comment here:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=825203#c9

(Don't customize V4L/DVB tuners or frontends)

This also happened to F17. My tuner works in kernel-3.3.4. In any newer
kernel it does not ...
Maybe a change in the turner id?
