Upgrade Fail2ban to the latest 0.8.6?

Could you help upgrade Fail2ban to the latest 0.8.6 release?

Fail2ban-0.8.6 is available on github.com, released on 2011/11/28:

I opened a ticket in EPEL for this the other day. It should get
updated for Fedora, too. Adam Miller said he was going to get an
update soon, but that was a couple days ago - perhaps someone adding
themselves to the CC list would be a polite way of getting his
attention.

Otherwise seems pointless to duplicate work...
