gstreamer-plugins-ugly for f19
Hi,

I have looked at gstreamer-plugins-ugly for f19, and gotten it to
compile by:
* updating to 0.10.19
* adding upstream patch for cdio code changes
* riped out sid

Axel: Perhaps I should get an account on your ftp-server to upload
src.rpm's?

Attached: patch and spec

Regards,
Kim

Forgot to tell that I needed to symlink all opencore-amr include files
to /usr/include :-( I can remember having reverted to that before - are
they installed in an unusual path on fedora?

Re: gstreamer-plugins-ugly for f19 [ In reply to ]
Hi,

This src.rpm compiles using both f18 and f19.

I remove the build-depend on PyXML - could not see it being used anywhere.

The situation for sid is the same in both f18 and f19 :-(

Yes as I wrote in a follow-up mail:

If you do not know - neither do I. I removed the build-depend on PyXML -
could not see it being used anywhere.

OK, thanks. We need to fix this in another way, e.g. adding
-I%{_includedir}/opencore-amrnb to the build process instead of
modifying the build environment with symlinks. Debian seems to have
had the same problem:

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=668011

Can you fix the package? Thanks!!!!! :)

Re: gstreamer-plugins-ugly for f19 [ In reply to ]
I had fixed this package some time ago for F17:

http://people.atrpms.net/~pcavalcanti/srpms/gstreamer-plugins-ugly-0.10.19-15.fc17.src.rpm

I do not know if it needs something extra for F18 or F19, but amrnb/armwb
stuff
is no longer a problem...

Thanks Paulo, and thanks Kim,

I merged the two packages together, and they seem to build fine.
OTOH there are upstream updates (like 1.1.x), so the next round should
probably check the new upstream bits.

Thanks!

Re: gstreamer-plugins-ugly for f19 [ In reply to ]
Hi all,

it does not build on el6 due to glib

checking for GLIB... no
configure: Requested 'glib-2.0 >= 2.24' but version of GLib is 2.22.5
configure: error: This package requires GLib >= 2.24 to compile.

So for el6 I pulled back the previous version. Other than that the
builds for Fedora are all OK.

Thanks!
