Oh dear. Anyone recognise the symptom...

When we get these types of reports could we get the people to load the
core dump into gdb (or something similar) and then get them to do a
bt (trace of function calls). It'll be easy to find what caused the crash
then.

I think there's one more field we should add to the bug report form: a
URL to the config files being used.
