As far as I know, junctions are only for directories. You can make a junction so
that C:\directory-a is a "junction" to C:\directory-b. I do not believe you can
do it with individual files.
I sure would like to author a patch. No problem. Very busy with some summer
classes. Please ping me if you haven't heard back in a while.
