To setup / configure the xen-server dom0 for XCP-ng there is a simple very helpful tool called ^xsconsole^.
I am looking for an ^xsconsole^.version for xen or something equivalent …
?
Regretfully, I cannot find it ? ?
?
For the management of the running configuration I intent to use a home compiled version of XOA.
?
However before I can do that I first have to set op the XEN-server itself, which is IMHO a small crime.
So again, is there a gui can be a simple one like ^xsconsole^ to do that (which makes that piece of cake).
?
Note that
- I intent to use vlan’s, where DOM0 and most of the VM’s will be connected to their own vlan using IPV4 and IPV6
- I also have TrueNas and consider to run that in a vm (to save a computer), where truenas should have its own disks
And perhaps also its own NIC
?
But first let me try to get the basic server up and running and get it connected to XOA
