(Extension:Translate) Mark a page from translation with a bot
Hi everyone,

I need to have my bot mark a page for translation. AFAICS the only way
to mark a page for translation is Special:PageTranslate.

Is there another way?
Can I have my bot call the Special Page?
If so how do I go about creating a session with the bot?
Or do I need to create my own extension which exposes the feature as an
API call?

Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Sebastian

All right, let me give you some context:

My wiki has a namespace which consists of only semantic-mediawiki
powered automatically generated pages. These pages do not have any "real
content" but only SMW properties.

The actual rendering is done by templates. These templates are also
generated by a bot based on a git repo and contain translatable passages.

Whenever the bot updates the templates I want it to also mark the latest
revision for translation.

Hope this helps to understand where I am coming from.

Regards,
Sebastian

Ok, will do. In the meantime I simply wrote my own extension exposing
the functionality.
