Description
httpd has a Perl-based regression test suite. However, it does not have
any useful tests for caching. This project idea would be to come up with
a set of scenarios that verifies the proper RFC-compliance behavior of
the caching modules. If any failures are detected, identification and
analysis of the problems are expected (but not necessarily patches). Time
permitting, caching over reverse proxying would also be verified.
