smtpd-policy.pl?
When I execute perl smtpd-policy.pl manually from the CLI, am I suppose to
input a file with test data? Or am I suppose to enter it from stdin? I get a
fatal error when trying to input data from the keyboard. And nothing appears
in syslog concerning this test.

A Google search for smtpd-policy.pl turned up nothing.

Also, where exactly are the policy lines suppose to go in master.cf? Does it
matter? I modified both main.cf and master.cf per the (limited) instructions
in postfix-policyd.txt (aka smtpd-policy.pl) but I couldn't send mail. I got
a configuration error message and I fixed that configuration problem but then
I got another error message. The next error message was that relaying is
denied. I remarked out the reject_unauth_destination in main.cf and was able
to send mail again. Way too many configuration options.

Basically, I have done the following:

Installed Net-CIDR-Lite-0.15
Net-DNS-0.47
Sys-Hostname-Long-1.2
Mail-SPF-Query-1.997
copied postfix-policyd.txt to /etc/postfix/smtpd-policy.pl
modified master.cf and main.cf per instructions in smtpd-policy.pl

Does anyone have detailed and non-cryptic instructions on how to SPF enable
Postfix?

Mandrake 10.0, kernel 2.6.3-13mdk, postfix 2.1.1-0.1.100mdk

First do a basic configuration of postfix, then add the spf-policy daemon.
Read http://www.mengwong.com/misc/postfix-uce-guide.txt to understand how the
restrictions work in postfix. Be sure to use postfix 2.1 or some recent
snapshot for policy support.
