FW: Adding a 2nd smtp server; munged DNS entry
Andrew .. h'mmm, thanks for the info, I'm re-reading A's archived email
from the 27th now. However Network Solutions hosts our DNS and while we
can add/remove or edit our domain, I don't see any way to edit
mail.c-span.org, or any of our records, to add the '.' suffix.

I'll take it up with them, tho' when I added the SPF TXT entry a while
back their Tier1 support wasn't much help.
Thanks again for all who contributed.
S

Sam,

You've created your DNS record incorrectly, probably forgetting the "."
at the end. See alan's reply from the 27th. He explains this in detail.
