why: Failed to run DNS_FROM_RFCI_DSN
Hi and thanks to all for this great piece of software!
Really can't imagine my mail-life without SpamAssassin anymore.

But when I upgraded spamassassin from 2.20 to 2.63 on the mailservers of my
company I started getting this in my syslog:

Feb 1 01:02:43 lyta spamd[24749]: Failed to run DNS_FROM_RFCI_DSN RBL SpamAssassin test, skipping: ^I(Can't call method "bgsend" on an undefined value at /usr/share/perl5/Mail/SpamAssassin/Dns.pm line 145, <GEN2933> line 53. )

When I switch on "skip_rbl_checks" I don't get this error anymore.
The mailserver is running Debian GNU/Linux woody (stable) while
my local machine (where everything works fine) is running Debian sarge.

If anyone can provide me with a clue what I'm missing please do so!
Thanks a lot in advance,
Andy.

Hi again:

Gotta answer my own question: :-)

The mailserver was missing the package "libnet-dns-perl".
Now it works just great!

Thanks again to everyone,
Andy.

were the default rulesets of sa 2.63 installed correctly?
files from Mail-SpamAssassin-2.63/rules/ should have been installed into
/usr/local/share/spamassassin (depends on your PREFIX).

Matthias
