Hi All,
I am new to rsyslog and now facing many issues to configure it.
My main purpose is to execute a script when syslog message is coming from a specific server which contains a specific string. But mainly I am facing below issues . I think my configuration is not correct to solve the issue.
1. Messages are not going to /var/log/messages or intended file even if selectors with facility.priority is defined. In some cases they are going to /var/log/user file.
2. Every time script are not getting executed. Seems script is executed only if messages are logged into the /var/log/messages file only.
3. Having trouble to pass arguments even if script is getting executed.
Thanks
Subrata
